Horses Produced
Mr Copper Top arrived with us with very little ridden experience from Ireland. However after 8 weeks of careful and correct production this lovely stamp of an Irish Draught has come into his own. Now sold and enjoying his life, progressing as a school master. We hope to see big things from this lovely boy!
Florence Court AKA Flossie joined us last Autumn as project. This beautiful mare had been lightly backed, and came to us to produce and sell. At first we thought we would struggle as the winter months were against us, but due to our perseverance and the outstanding attitude of this mare meant that she quickly progressed through all disciplines. Thankfully with our all weather facilities such as the beach, we were able to continue this horses education regardless of the foot of snow! Flossie had a short stay of 16 weeks with us before she move onto her new home, where she has continued her education and can now be seen competing BE 100's
Mossie 'The Gentle Giant' arrived at Cakeham Stables as a hacking horse. Shortly after his arrival we discovered his potential. Over a six month period, Mossie was slowly produced in a variety of fields, rounding his education, forming a fabulous allrounder. This lovely boy was successfully sold to his forever home, and is loved dearly.
Lunar Eclipse came to me as a young green Dutch mare, with huge potential, but little education. On arrival Luna proved to be quite a handful. We spent the first couple of weeks getting to know Luna on the ground, to understand what made her tick. After six weeks of intense training, we finally began making some headway. Luna is now riding as a hunt horse, thoroughly enjoying her time in the fields.
